Pricing FAQ

Do credits expire?+
No. Both pack credits and monthly subscription credits go into one balance and never expire. Subscriptions add new credits each month on top of whatever you already had.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?+
Yes. Open Account → Manage billing to launch the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancel, swap plans, or update your card — no email back-and-forth, no cancellation fee.
What's your refund policy?+
If you're unhappy with a purchase, contact us within 7 days for a full refund. Failed generations are also auto-refunded by our system — you only pay for what successfully generates.
Which AI models are included?+
All plans include access to every available model: Kling 3.0, Google Veo 3.1, Wan 2.6, xAI Grok Video, Gemini Flash/Pro images, and Imagen 4. No model is locked behind a higher tier.
How many videos can I make with 10 free credits?+
A 5-second video costs 3-5 credits depending on the model. With 10 free credits, you can generate 2-3 videos — enough to evaluate quality across different providers.
Do I need a credit card to start?+
No. Sign up with Google and get 10 free credits instantly. No credit card required until you decide to buy more.
Can I buy credits without leaving the studio?+
Yes. The credit balance pill in the studio top bar opens an in-app purchase modal — same Stripe checkout, no context switch. Just click the ⚡ pill or the 'Get credits to animate' CTA when a generation needs more credits than you have.
What happens if a generation fails?+
We deduct credits before calling the AI provider so concurrent requests can't burn each other's budget. If the provider returns a failure, our system automatically refunds the credits and logs a refund row in your transaction ledger. You only pay for successful generations.
What happens if I exceed my monthly plan allotment?+
Subscribers (Starter / Creator / Pro / Studio) can keep generating after the monthly allotment runs out — additional credits are billed at $0.10 each as an overage line on your next renewal invoice. No mid-period interruption. The /account dashboard shows your live usage so you can see overage building up before it bills. Free-tier users can't incur overage; they hit the 0-credit wall and get a one-click top-up modal.
How do you set the per-credit cost on each AI model?+
Each credit is calibrated to ~$0.05 in vendor compute spend. So a 5-second xAI Grok video at $0.25 vendor cost costs 5 credits; a 5-second Veo 3.1 Fast at $0.50 vendor cost costs 10 credits. The credit-cost map is the single source of truth and we publish it in /how-credits-work. Pick the model that fits the shot — the cost scales transparently.
